Provide members of Hostos Community College with guidance, instruction, and support in creating, disseminating, and using open educational resources. This support includes one-on-one consultation to help faculty identify appropriate OER materials for inclusion or adaptation in open textbooks; navigating online systems; determining copyright; appropriately licensing their own materials; making images and documents accessible. This position requires working knowledge of concepts such as intellectual property, copyright, andacademic publishing practices, and the ability to educate faculty on these topics.
