ABOUT REN CHAMARETTE

After dedicating several years to customer services, I decided to further explore my long-standing passion for video games, and with a freshly lit fire in my heart, I immediately started exploring this realised career goal. I started out as a live streamer on Twitch.tv, organically building a wonderful, tight-knit community of friends and regular viewers to share my love of games with. Alongside my streaming journey, I was studying Games Programming at the University of Derby. Two years later (and after a lot of self-reflection), I was presented with a perfect opportunity to move to Germany to join YAGER as a Quality Assurance Technician Intern. I was involved with two different projects at YAGER. For my internship, I predominantly worked on an unannounced title for Mobile Android. Later, I was appointed to \'The Cycle: Frontier\' project for PC, and during the pre-release stages, I was promoted to a Junior QA Technician role with a mixture of Community Management. After a successful launch, I continued to work on the live game\'s updates and patches until it was sadly announced for sunset. Now, with two years of hands-on QA experience, I am searching for my next chapter in the industry.
