I am an energy policy analyst passionate about transmission expansion as a climate solution and economic opportunity for the Western U.S. I work at the Interwest Energy Alliance, where I lead analysis and advocacy to support proactive transmission planning, renewable energy development, and competitive electricity markets.With a background in social science research and public engagement, I focus on aligning utilities, regulators, and advocates around the shared goal of building a clean, regional grid. My previous work includes research, teaching, and policy analysis focused on climate justice and utility regulation. I continue to bring a systems lens to my work and am passionate about accelerating a just and affordable energy transition in the West.I am from Taos, New Mexico, and received my B.A. in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College and my M.A. in Geography from the University of Arizona, where my master\'s thesis focused on energy justice and rooftop solar net metering reform.
