Rebekah Davies is anything but an ordinary girl in the anything but ordinary world of digital citizen health! With a neurodiverse brain, she doesn\'t just think outside the box, she rebuilds it. As the ONLY national-level Speech and Language Therapist in Clinical Informatics, Rebekah leads digital transformation initiatives within NHS England and is the clinical lead for over 33 million users!She is the author of multiple national-level safety cases and policies, including redevelopment of safe guarding, supplier engagement processes and supporting the Proxy Access (2024 national policy to make access to healthcare data on behalf of and between consenting individuals safer, standardised and swift. She is the co-author of the RCSLT telehealth guidance. Her book The Remotely Possible (2022), is intended as ground up go-to guide for clinicians implementing remote consultations in their practice. Recognised by the RCSLT and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh for her outstanding contribution to the Speech and Language Therapy profession during Covid-19, she has proudly and enthusiastically championed digital health in the Speech and Language community. Rebekah is passionate about enhancing user experience to maximise digital patient safety and independent management of healthcare. She places a strong emphasis on digital clinical risk management, optimising the safe procurement, development, and adoption of digital initiatives, systems, and products. With experience supporting organisations like Microsoft, Rebekah has directly impacted the development of globally impactful digital health tools and solutions.As an accomplished clinician qualifying in 2007, Rebekah has a double Bachelor\'s degree in Human Communication Science from Sheffield Hallam and The University of Sheffield. She is also skilled in transformational change management, service analysis, and evaluation, and is a highly effective communicator with deep insight and understanding of the workforce innovation cycle. Above all, Rebekah is committed to evidence-based practice and promoting accessibility and inclusivity.
