I\'m a software engineer and technical leader with deep experience in AI, data science, and systems that scale. Long before large language models went mainstream, I was building machine learning systems, designing intelligent infrastructure, and helping teams turn cutting-edge research into real-world products.Today, I work on my company’s AI team, applying LLMs to solve practical problems and deliver value across the business. My academic background includes a master’s in software engineering with a concentration in AI/ML, and my professional journey since has spanned hands-on ML, engineering strategy, and product-focused data work.I’ve also spent years helping others learn what I’ve learned: through books, workshops, and teaching. My latest book,\"Unlocking Python\"(Wiley, May 2025), is a practical guide for beginners, focusing on data science, web scraping, and web applications. I’m also the author of \"Web Scraping with Python\"(O’Reilly, 3rd ed. 2024), now translated into eight languages, and \"Instant Web Scraping with Java\"(Packt, 2013).I have six LinkedIn Learning courses, including the most popular Python course on the platform: Python Essential Training.Outside of industry, I’ve designed curriculum at Northeastern, taught at Olin College, and led accessible, community-centered courses through the Boston Public Library. Whether leading projects, mentoring engineers, or architecting AI systems, I focus on making complex things clear and powerful ideas useful.Right now, I’m focused on cross-functional impact: aligning engineering, product, and AI to drive scalable innovation and build what’s next.
