As the engineering manager for the NEFI team within the payments organization at Nordstrom, I support a team of 5 local engineers in the development of a modernized, cloud-based data store for payment and fraud information. We work hand-in-hand with a fraud partner, ensuring the most accurate data is utilized to prevent e-commerce fraud at Nordstrom. Additionally, I support a team of 5 offshore contractors in Kyiv who are developing a service that consolidates all e-commerce fraud decisioning from the myriad independent integrations that exist throughout Nordstrom today. Finally, I am working with the other payments organization teams to grow a new payments team in Denver. I currently support 3 engineers working on modernizing the alternative payments systems within the Nordstrom Enterprise Payment Platform.
