Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining systems that improve the quality and efficiency of information in the areas of documentation and reliability and maintainability.Comply with company, legal, and regulatory requirements for Health, Safety, and Environmental topics in order to foster a culture of Health and Safety.Conduct FEA’s, FMEA’s, risk assessments, MTBF and MTBR calculations to support company projects.Develop and implement R&M specifications for engineering and purchasing, and apply R&M concepts to meet R&M design requirements.Responsible for the creation of FEA and FMEA studies and documents.Execute equipment design, feasibility studies, preparation of specifications, sequence of operations and technical documentation.Carry out engineering solutions and designs in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements and project specifications. Apply design standards and generic design patterns. Perform data analysis, trending, and other data mining to find solutions to problems.Analyze preliminary engineering design concepts for operational R&M. Recommend needed testing/validation. Develop a reliability and maintainability (R&M) plan with measurable goals.Monitor production and maintenance losses to improve throughput and reduce cost (reduce MTTR, increase MTBF and improve availability).Use historical maintenance data, production data, safety data and other sources to deliver a comprehensive strategy for improvements.Apply the principles of knowledge-based systems to current documentation practices to improve the quality and efficiency of customer documentation.Support gauge R&R activities and spare part scrubbing on spare parts lists.
