I work closely with the business, finance, legal, product, and engineering teams to translate complex tax regulations into scalable operational solutions. My focus is not only on maintaining compliance but also on building efficient frameworks that support new business models, digital marketplaces, and evolving regulatory regimes.A significant part of my work involves implementing marketplace collect-and-remit rules for VAT and U.S. sales tax, designing processes to respond quickly to new legislation, and mitigating tax risk related to intercompany transactions and cross-border operations. I\'ve also lead indirect tax efforts for mergers and acquisitions including tax due diligence, nexus and taxability analysis, transaction structuring, and post-acquisition integration.I’m particularly passionate about leveraging technology to modernize tax operations. Through close collaboration with tax technology teams, I’ve helped implement tax engine solutions, automation initiatives, and AI-driven product classification tools that improve accuracy, scalability, and reporting efficiency.At the core of my approach is partnership.
