ABOUT REJATH REJI
Hi! I’m a Chemical Engineer specializing in Manufacturing Operations at BPCL Kochi Refinery, where I am currently an apprentice trainee in the Delayed Coker Unit. My work involves optimizing refinery processes, ensuring safety compliance, and addressing complex operational challenges in one of India’s largest refineries. I completed my Chemical Engineering degree from TKM College of Engineering, where my research was on advanced oxidation processes using nitrogen-doped TiO2 catalysts for wastewater treatment. My research provided valuable insights into enhancing industrial dye degradation, blending academic rigor with real-world application. With hands-on experience at BPCL, I’ve involved in troubleshooting critical issues like optimizing the separation of oil-water emulsions in the delayed coker unit blowdown system, conducting profitability studies on anode coke production, I am committed to advancing my expertise in process engineering and safety, aiming to contribute to the development of sustainable, efficient, and safe industrial processes. My goal is to continue making impactful contributions to the chemical engineering field, particularly in the areas of process optimization and industrial safety.
