d responsibilities as Financial Acc & Rep Controller:May 2017-May 2019• Month-End Close & Consolidation: Lead and oversee the month-end closing process for eight European countries, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP.• Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit consolidated financial statements (FS) to the US headquarters, ensuring compliance with corporate deadlines and reporting standards.• SEC Reporting: Manage and compile SEC reporting packages at each quarter-end, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.• SOX Compliance & Internal Controls: Execute SOX controls on a quarterly basis, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.• Audit Coordination:o Act as the primary point of contact for internal auditors during quarterly reviews.o Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely completion of all audit deliverables.• Team & Process Management: Oversee and coordinate all month-end tasks to ensure the team completes them on time.• Process Optimization & Globalization: Drive the standardization and globalization of month-end procedures across multiple regions, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
