ABOUT REILLY ANDERSON

Currently a first-year student majoring in Finance at Indiana University\'s Kelley School of Business, I\'ve always had a deep interest in how financial models shape businesses and markets globally, resulting in my curiosity to solve real-world business challenges through the application of data-driven financial insight.My passion in studying finance is driven by my strive in effectively communicating in the workplace, carefully analyzing data to provide helpful insight, and collaborating with peers through fostering a sense of community. Through my years as a summer lifeguard, I found that my ability to communicate strengthened when communicating with staff streamlined the set-up of pool events, resulting in efficient time management when what used to be time-waste turned into finishing our closing tasks early, and developed order within cleaning bathrooms and the pool deck. As a member of my high school\'s microfinance club, my peers and I engaged in data-driven analysis of possible organizations to help out, resulting in the best allocation of our funds and the development of such careful analysis techniques. As a part of the Hinsdale Honor Guard, my team and I exchanged ideas and shared related values in order to determine the next community-benefitting project or opportunity, bringing our community closer together through initiative and the strengthening of our team-work.As a student who\'s eager to expand my knowledge and reach my goals, I\'ve noticed that no matter what, hardship will arise. Although, I\'ve noticed that embracing such hardship and tackling obstacles through perseverance, adversity, and an open-mind rather than submitting has greatly developed my determination and consistency, values I plan on using and building upon in future workplaces.
