Data Scientist, Statistician, Mathematician working in the Minneapolis area. Numbers, statistics, and simulations are my jam, with an interest in applying my knowledge in the digital and applied art fields. A graduate from the University of Iowa and the University of Minnesota, I am a data driven thinker and problem solver who enjoys using my knowledge to help clients and organizations make the best possible decision. I enjoy working in the technology industry where I know my knowledge of statistics, data science, and experimental design can improve digital products, user experiences, and marketing techniques. I have a strong statistical and analytical background, in topics such as: linear, nonlinear, and logistic regression, principal component analysis, Bayesian statistics, M/ANOVA, and random forests to name a few. I also have experience drafting and implementing surveys, as well as designing experiments. For collecting digital data I use Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM). With GA and GTM I have developed, implemented, and maintained analytics strategies on websites with visits from thousands of visits per month to millions. My tool of choice for analysis is the R statistical software of which I am proficient in. Other tools and software include the Google Analytics + Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Googledocs and apps, Typeform, Qualtrics Survey Design. I have a general knowledge of Python, SAS, SPSS, Mathematica, Survey Monkey, MailChimp, Optimizely, Libre Office, ArcGIS, Google AdWords. I have also worked with administrative tools such as Slack, Harvest, Trello, Basecamp, and Growth Hacker.
