Reworked and reinforced the editorial direction of IGN India, while re-establishing a presence with major publishers and hardware makers.Content strategy:Worked with the team to redo the website\'s content strategy to focus on news, on-ground reporting, and video game reviews. Introduced and trained the entire team to start working on hardware reviews of gaming laptops and PC hardware.Organization and planning:Established workflows to ensure we are at the forefront of news discovery and content planning. Increased the work output by 35 per cent across the entire team while expanding the coverage to focus on new elements like hardware reviews, news, game performance testing, and industry interviews. This also resulted in 30 percent increase in monthly site traffic as per Google Analytics 4 with the same number of resources.Industry connections and presence:Re-established and strengthened industry-wide connections in and beyond India with all the major game publishers and hardware makers that operate in the country. Dealt (and still working to address) the challenges that video game journalists face in India around access to the games and more.Video IPs:Helped launch and rework video IPs at IGN India, like IGN Army, to involve Bollywood stars and internet celebs. I spearheaded work around video versions of the game reviews aimed at the Indian market, along with support for the Games Made in India series. Collaborated with hardware makers and game publishers for collaborations around the video IPs while working around challenges.These improvements helped us win the \"Gaming Publication of the Year\" from Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) at IGS (India Gaming Show) 2024 for our work in 2023.

I have also ventured beyond the more ordinary to the more obscure of fighting coronavirus with contact tracing, donating your computing power for medical research, fighting tracking and ad technology to get back control of your privacy and personal data and more. I hope to chase the developments for that future with the latest gaming consoles, the future of games on the cloud, pop-culture, mainstream esports tournaments, and more.I aim to craft stories right from quick news reports, detailed reviews, to comprehensive guides to help anyone and everyone. As part of the pursuit to author better stories, I love to craft quality images to make the writing more engaging. Beyond the usual importance of images, I aspire to take inspiration from the world of cinema to weave vivid visuals that pull the reader in.
