About Rehan Nath
I am a final-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at BITS Pilani with a focus on applying machine learning and data science to solve practical problems. At Mercedes Benz Research and Development India, I worked on designing an EV range prediction algorithm that improved accuracy and is set to be published at AICTA 2025. During my internship at the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency, I improved data extraction APIs and developed predictive models to support key government sectors. My academic projects include creating a License Plate Recognition system using YOLOv3, prototyping AI-based transcription systems, and experimenting with Federated Learning algorithms. I have experience with Python, TensorFlow, and data visualization tools, and I approach challenges with a methodical and result-oriented mindset. As the Team Lead for Pragati, a subdivision of the student-run NGO Nirmaan, I have contributed to community welfare and women’s empowerment initiatives.
