Responsible for leading teams of engineers and GIS analysts in developing hydrologic and hydraulic models and maps on watershed-wide studies, FEMA RiskMap, levee and dam breach analysis and other hydraulic structure (riverine) design and modeling projects. • Supervise and develop hydrologic model development; with expertise in several rainfall-runoff methods, stochastic hydrology, gage analysis using USGS Bulletin 17B/C. Proficient in using both HEC-SSP, PeakFQ, and applying statistical methods using Python, Excel, and MATLAB. • Responsible for leading teams in hydraulics model development - both 1D steady/unsteady analysis, 2D models including rain-on-mesh, complex hydraulic structure analysis primarily in the riverine domain. • Supervise and develop FEMA flood studies in various states and regions throughout the US • Developing schedule and budget, training junior engineers and managing weekly/monthly team tasks, QA/QC, coordination with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders. Involved in community outreach meetings. I see a future in automation and the benefits of utilizing the advancements in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning in H&H modeling and spatial data science.
