About Regis Perichon

Helping health care professional and clinical research teams make the most appropriate decisions to managing their patients and/or pursuing their clinical research goals through the development of novel clinical tests and tools has been my professional passion for years. Current technical lead role in the BMS Precision Medicine organization managing the translation of promising biomarkers into clinical trial assays (CTA) and companion diagnostics (CDx) in support of (Celgene) BMS assets in different disease areas. Lead in assessing the mass spectrometry landscape for CTA and CDx activities and goals.Prior to this, managed all aspects of the development and CLIA clinical validation of the accuGFR(tm) test; a novel metabolite-based panel that is more precise than and independent of creatinine or cystatin-C in estimating the glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)(kidney function)Contributed to the successful positioning & 2013 launch of the Quantose IR(tm) test (an LDT/CLIA test for insulin resistance) and establish foundational work that led to its follow-up product: the Quantose IGT(tm) test (an alternative to the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test - OGTT). Lead biomarker discovery efforts (and translational efforts) that led to filing (as inventor/co-inventor) of 5 diagnostic biomarker patents for kidney function (accuGFR), NASH (liver disease), bladder tumor detection (oncology), cisplatin-tolerance (oncology), Chagas disease (infectious diseases).Managed strategic/upstream marketing activities to identify unmet diagnostic needs, characterize the market size for those needs, identify, develop and nurture relationships with top-tier KOL in relevant medical specialties.
