   Establish, develop and manage relationships with State Optometric Association leadership in 17 Central Region states. Negotiate annual sponsorships and deliverables, travel to state conferences, meet with executive team to proactively resolve issues for association membership. Become an expert in assigned region on VSP plans, programs and products. Build relationships that result in positive adoption, achievement of enterprise targets and support of strategic initiatives. Evaluate key interactions with VSP to identify opportunities, increase efficiencies and enhance overall satisfaction. Proactively partner with key practices acting as a trusted advisor. Resolve problematic issues and offer solutions within VSP’s established policies and processes. Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies utilizing influencing techniques to attract new providers to the network or entice existing providers to participate in supplemental VSP networks. As needed, work with business partners to deliver training to strategic or top tier accounts. Provide educational content and support as needed to optometric associations and key practices to further engage the audience with VSP and better understand our products and services. Take a leadership role with key, identified practices to further VSP Global initiatives, collaborating with cross line of business partners. Research, analyze and resolve complex provider issues. Escalate provider issues to the appropriate business partners and drive solutions as needed to respond within established timelines. Proactively, reactively and interactively communicate VSP’s strategic direction and relevance to practices. Represent VSP Vision Care at industry meetings for the purpose of building positive relationships that will drive adoption of VSP products and services.
