ABOUT REGINALD HENDERSON

As a corporate executive, Reginald has 20 years of experience as an attorney and a proven track record of taking on progressively increasing responsibilities in the legal and human resources functions. He joined Lowe’s, a Fortune® 40 retailer, in 2007 and led large legal practice teams for several years focusing on commercial and consumer law, employment law, government contracts, and law department administration. Reginald then transitioned to the human resources department for two years to lead the company’s talent management function. There he was responsible for leading strategic workforce planning and talent strategies to ensure the company has the skills and capabilities required to compete in a rapidly changing retail environment. Reginald has now returned to the Legal and Government Affairs department to lead government relations where he is responsible for leading the strategic development and management of the company’s relationships with international, federal, state and local government policymakers and influencers to enable Lowe’s efficient delivery of the right products to customers and strengthen the company’s brand. SAVOY® magazine recently named Reginald among the Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America and among the Most Influential Black Lawyers. He is a member of the board of directors for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and the NC Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of the board of advisors for UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business.
