Duties and responsibilities include handling all aspects of file management, client contact and trials in multi-district litigation, mass torts, personal injury cases and products liability cases. Lead paralegal in several major cases including both phases of the trial in MDL No. 2179, In re: Deepwater Horizon litigation, arising out of the 2010 BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Handled all courthouse logistics for the entire trial team, and also came to be depended upon by all counsel and the Court as a point person for the tracking and marshaling of all exhibits admitted during the trial. Additionally, as lead paralegal in the Scott tobacco trial (Louisiana tobacco class action), asked by the Court to take on the same responsibilities for a trial that spanned a three-year period.
