ABOUT REGINA LOAYZA
Hi everyone!I am a rising 2L J.D. candidate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law with a passion for environmental justice. Since the age of 15, I\'ve been an advocate for inclusive climate legislation, recognizing the disproportionate impact of climate issues on marginalized communities. I hold a BS in Environment and Natural Resources from OSU, majoring in Environmental Policy and Decision Making, with a minor in Andean and Amazonian Studies.My experiences include roles with the Columbus City Council, the Ohio Governor’s office, the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, and more. I am also a TEDx speaker, having delivered “Climate Justice: A Win for Us All,” and co-own Loayza Gifts and Publications LLC.Honored with awards such as the Udall Scholarship and the 2024 Ohio State University Distinguished Senior Award, I am dedicated to bridging environmental and social justice, striving for a sustainable and equitable future for all.
