1. Program Manager

   Norfolk Naval Shipyard

   Focuses are problem solving and resolution, employee relations, personnel management, and supervise. Serve as a consultant and liaise to management in handling corrective actions, staff development, and employee relation’s issues. Manage all business operations including: sales, marketing, financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, purchasing, and customer service. I prepare and assist employees with completion of travel claims, travel orders and travel vouchers for each individual employee and supervisor. Prepare and administer an accurate enrollment file for Department of Transportation civilians and military members who are receiving paper fare media or debit cards (van pool, ferry and commuter rail) benefits through the DON Transportation Incentive Program. Validate and confirm that each TIP participant is accurately listed under the correct Unit Identification Code or Reporting Unit Code, Major Command and funding appropriation to ensure that the correct funding source is paying for the participant’s TIP benefit. Assisting DOT with coordinating the funding process; distributes fare media to Department of Navy TIP ONCR participants, bills FSA and NEXCOM; Prepare and set up Customer Agreements for Non Appropriated Fund (NA and Navy Regions (Appropriated/Working Capital Funds side). Approval and Reviewing Official for each application for participants and providing the funds to cover the participant and validating expenses distributing program information, tracking usage, reporting fraud, and verifying participant information and providing policies and program procedures. Conducting internal audits with FRAUD, WASTE and ABUSE investigators to ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard program integrity. Reviewed reports for accuracy prior to input into the Management Information System (MIS) worked directly with financial department. I utilized Norfolk Naval Shipyard COST for unallocated costs.
