About Regina Griego
Regina M. Griego, Ph.D. is an independent consultant and retired as a Distinguished R&D Systems Engineer from Sandia National Laboratories working on systems strategy. She has over 30 years of experience leading multi-agency and multidisciplinary teams in various domains to deliver systems and develop organizational capability. She is a speaker, mentor, coach and author of the new book: Sins of the System: Trauma, Guns, Tragedy and the Betrayal of Our Children based on a personal experience. She is recognized for her research and ability to elicit a common conceptual basis for realizing solutions. Regina is an INCOSE Fellow, past Technical Director, and the Enchantment Chapter Founding President.Recognizing that it was, and still is, highly unusual for a woman, especially a Hispanic woman, to become an engineer, Regina developed the desire to use her talents to help people of all ages learn how to break down barriers and Transcend to unimagined Futures. Since retiring from engineering, Regina is concentrating on her career as a coach, author, and speaker. She has been writing poetry since high school, mostly during times of trouble and transition. Her work has been featured in a variety of collections, and she is published as an engineer. Born and raised in New Mexico with Hispanic roots that go back 400 years in the state, she is married with six children in a blended family and has seven grandchildren. Regina has coached and mentored many people as a professor, senior engineer, and leadership coach. She is also an active member of organizations that support gun safety and juvenile justice.
