As the Chief Diversity Officer at Franklin Templeton, I leverage over 20 years of experience in human resources and business to lead global diversity and inclusion initiatives. At McCormick & Company, Inc, I led global Diversity and Inclusion, earning the organization recognition from DiversityInc as one of the “Top 50 Companies for Diversity” in 2017 and 2018.Accolades and RecognitionIn 2020, I was honored to be named one of the “Top 10 Influential Women in Diversity” by Diversity Global Magazine and listed among Savoy Magazine’s “Most Influential Women in Corporate America.” My contributions have also been recognized by the Girl Scouts of Maryland and the Griffin Report.Board Memberships and Community InvolvementI currently serve on the Board of Directors for Fiduciary Trust International and the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE). I also serve as the Chair of the Investment Company Institute (ICI) Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Additionally, I am a member of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association (DCIIA) CDO Advisory Board, the Catalyst Advisory Board, and the Peabody Institute Advisory Board. Previously, I served on the Board of Directors for Associated Black Charities and completed the Greater Baltimore Committee Civic Leadership Program. I am also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.Education and CertificationsA native of Akron, Ohio, I hold a BA in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University. I have earned certifications in Six Sigma, the Center for Creative Leadership 360 assessment, Prosci Change Management, and as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
