About Reginald G. Greene
When Reginald joined Teach for America in 2004 his goal was to gain further insight into the intractable problems in the public education system that marginalize students, particularly children of color. Reg’s belief in justice empowered him to gain invaluable experience as a change agent by participating in the service of others. By his 20’s, Reg found himself at the center of the charter school reform movement - first, as a teacher and later as a school leader and superintendent. By his 30’s, Reginald transitioned from education to law when he entered Cardozo School of Law. Reginald honed the experience and skills he gained in education to become an advocate outside the classroom and in the process became a stronger leader in service to the People. In law school Reginald served as Cardozo\'s Student Bar Association President for two consecutive terms and as a Senior Editor of the Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (ADR) Competition Honor Society. Reg is a Peace Institute trained mediator and since graduating from Benjamin N. Cardozo, he has dedicated his energy to justice for all as Manhattan Assistant District Attorney. Reg Greene is committed to serving our community, with particular attention to the most vulnerable of us. Reg serves by using every bit of his skill and power to shield the People from harm; and fights relentlessly to support, develop, and redesign the systems that define our future, our laws, our justice system, and our willingness to save lives.
