President & CEO of a 501(c)(3) private foundation working to improve the quality of training, diagnosis and treatment available to persons living with epilepsy and associated psychiatric disorders in under-resourced areas of the world. From initial incorporation in 2014, and a first grant made in 2015, ROW now consists of two charitable entities – ROW Foundation, a 501(c)(3) private foundation, and ROW Global Health, a 501(c)(3) public charity – a staff of highly dedicated and expert personnel, and a board of directors and an advisory council of international renown. Since its first grant was made in 2015, ROW Foundation has given over $21 million in diagnosis, training and treatment grants, including over prescription-months of anti-seizure medication, and is involved in programming with 77 partners in 37 countries.
