Ensures the network, site, system, or application information system is certified and accredited.• Provides guidance and recommendations for secure configurations.• Performs monthly scan reviews.• Performs quarterly STIG reviews.• Supports C&A / A&A efforts.• Assesses and supports ensuring information systems areoperated, used, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices.• Verifies security policies and safeguards on all personnel having access to the information systems.• Continuous monitoring as mandated in step six of RMF.• Conducts periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the accreditation and/or certification support documentation package.• Performs/reviews Vulnerability Assessments, STIGS, Inventories, eMASS, POA & Ms.• Supports Configuration Management (New adds, Baselining and Baseline change management).• Initiates protective or corrective measures to maintainsecurity on information systems.• Provides regular dissemination of CYBERCOMM TASKORDS, IAVAS, acknowledge receipt of IAVAS, Answer Data Calls, Reviews Vulnerability assessments and STIGS and directs corrective measures as required, Coordinates with ISSEs, VMs, and ISSMs.• Ensures support to information assurance vulnerabilitymanagement (IAVM) requirements and ensure security patches are installed, as appropriate.• Reports security incidents to the ISSM and/or cognizantNOA/DAA in accordance with policy and procedures.• Resolves IT Support tickets.• Acknowledges support tickets within 30 minutes of receipt.• Develops processes to support overall cybersecurity program.• Assists with local policy development.• Be delegated the authority to process and sign SAAR-N forms on behalf of the Information Assurance Manager (IAM)• Assists in SAAR-N routing as necessary to lead to successful completion.• Performs verification that all required fields of the SAAR-N form are completed and signed as appropriate.
