WORK HISTORY
South Island Senior Driver Trainer - Halls Cold Chain Logistics @Talley\'s Limited
Christchurch, NZ
I am one of the very lucky people who actually love their job. Yes the day to day stuff has it\'s challenging moments but at it\'s core I love the challenge it brings. Like all businesses it continually evolves and Hall\'s is no different. One of the key positives at Hall\'s is there a few people who are very passionate about the business and moving it always forward.

ABOUT REGAN BRADY
I am very passionate about logistics. If it moves plane, train, truck, ship of any type it greatly interests me. Logistics is not a 9 to 5 job more like a 5 to 9 job and I absolutely love it. No 2 days are ever the same so provides some very interesting and peculiar situations to be solved. I have always been involved in the transport industry in originally driving roles but have moved into office based roles and Driver Training. I put myself through Christchurch Polytechnic for free at first just to brush up on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word which I carried on after getting the bug to keep learning to finally get my National Certificate in Computing Level 2. After this I had a great thirst for more knowledge so I paid to put myself through National Diploma in Business Studies Level 5 which I graduated in 2012 after a delay caused by the earthquakes. My next tertiary education is going to be completing the National Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4).I\'m coming up on 10 years with the Talley\'s group and certainly have my TFL (Talley\'s for Life) imaginary tattoo. Plus coming up to 53 years old I reflect on my time at Talley\'s and Hall\'s with lots of pride. Like any job it certainly has it\'s hard challenging moments and people, but that\'s life in general. My tip is surround yourself with people you admire, love and make you smile. Look and move forward, but every now and then look back and see how you have grown in yourself.I love this industry and can\'t see me deviating far in the future on my career path.
