About Reese May
I am a Mississippian, a US Marine, a father, and a husband. I am a warfighter and a philosopher by training. I don’t admire problems, I solve them. For over 14 years at SBP, I have been a thinker, leader, and catalyst - driving results in low-income, disaster-impacted communities nationwide. I am also a disaster survivor. In 2009, I was a young, uninsured renter and lost everything I owned in a house fire. I know what it means to begin again with nothing. At SBP, I help Federal, State, and local leaders deliver more equitable and more effective disaster resilience and recovery programs in their communities.
