   Project LIFE is a research based, multi-year transition to work program model for high school students and young adults with disabilities. Project LIFE gives needed learning experiences, a differentiated course of study and authentic work based learning opportunities that provides valuable data focused on specific preferences, interests, needs and strengths exhibited by each individual. This information is then used to enhance self-determination and inform transition pathways leading to higher levels of overall independence and integrated employment. Developed over 11 years by a team of passionate and highly qualified special educators and administrators, Project LIFE utilizes all components of NTACT\'s research based transition quality indicators. Project LIFE is also endorsed by Cincinnati Children\'s Hospital Medical Center\'s award winning Project SEARCH as quality programming leading to better preparation for success in Project SEARCH programs (where available).
