Associate Director within a global asset manager, leading EMEA marketing governance and regulatory oversight across multiple jurisdictions. Responsible for ensuring all marketing and distribution communications meet regulatory expectations while supporting commercial objectives- Review & Approval: Oversee review and approval of marketing materials and financial promotions (including websites, pitch books, and factsheets) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g, FCA, SEC) and internal standards- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure communications are fair, clear, and not misleading, with focus on public/private debt investment products and cross-border distribution- Wall Crossings & Information Barriers: Manage wall crossing processes and maintain robust information barrier controls across investment and distribution teams- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and enhance marketing compliance policies and procedures to reflect evolving regulatory requirements- Monitoring & Core Testing: Lead and execute testing as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme, strengthening control frameworks and identifying areas for improvement- Advisory Partner: Provide timely, practical compliance advice to marketing, product, and distribution teams, balancing regulatory risk with commercial strategy- Risk Management: Identify and manage reputational and regulatory risks, including conflicts of interest and ESG/sustainability-related disclosures- Record Keeping & Governance: Maintain robust records of approved materials to ensure audit readiness and regulatory transparency- Training & Culture: Deliver regional compliance training across EMEA and APAC offices (including Ireland, Singapore, and Milan), promoting a strong governance culture- Senior Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with the Head of Compliance and senior leadership to align regional marketing activity with global regulatory frameworks.
