I am a globally experienced expert in healthcare waste management (HCWM), WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) in healthcare facilities, and the intersection of climate and health, with over 18 years of extensive experience driving transformative solutions in this arena across Asia, MENA and the Pacific.My career has been dedicated to ensuring safe, sustainable, and scalable waste management systems in healthcare settings, contributing to environmental protection, public health improvement, and compliance with globally recognised standards. I have successfully led and collaborated on projects funded by national/sub national bodies and global organizations such as UNICEF, WHO, GIZ, SIDA, NORAD, etc on sustainable waste management practices that mitigate climate impact and improve the health outcomes of vulnerable populations. In addition, I am a proud member of ISWA’s (International Solid Waste Association) Working Group on Healthcare Waste.Passionate about knowledge sharing and innovation, I am committed to building sustainable systems that protect both human health and the environment.
