Lottomatica, listed on Euronext Milan of Borsa Italiana and majority-owned by Apollo Global Management, is a leader in the Italian igaming industry, encompassing both online and offline segments. As Head of Digital Innovation, I\'m leading the transformation of our new Digital Innovation division with a Lean Approach. This method allows us to minimize inefficiency, optimize resources, and quickly adapt based on real-world feedback. Our objectives are now multifaceted:We are cultivating an innovation culture that embraces a variety of fields, including cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3, alongside other digital innovations. This encourages creativity and experimentation across a broad spectrum of technologies.Our structured methodology, underpinned by lean principles, now supports innovation in multiple areas, including blockchain and crypto technologies. This framework facilitates ideation, prototyping, testing, and scaling in various aspects of digital innovation.Applying lean strategies, we aim to design a roadmap for ongoing innovation that considers the potentials of AI, blockchain, and VR/AR, as well as other emerging digital technologies. This involves setting up agile innovation pipelines and forming partnerships with external stakeholders in diverse fields.By integrating the lean approach with this broad focus on various innovative technologies, we are instilling a versatile, innovation-driven mindset within the organization. This results in a dynamic flow of digital innovations, spanning traditional and emerging tech spheres, impacting the market significantly.
