With Richard Pound, I am the author of A Tax Guide for American Citizens in Canada - a plain language guidebook that assists US citizens in Canada to meet their US tax obligations. I designed the marketing plan and worked with the publisher to execute. I have also done several seminars for Thompson Reuters clients and authored a long tax guide for Canadian accountants and lawyers on how to advise US clients.

I help individuals, businesses and investment funds with tax problems that span the Canada-US border. I write and speak a lot on cross-border tax issues nationally and internationally. I’ve developed a number of novel solutions to vexing cross-border tax issues. Prior to founding Polaris Tax Counsel, I worked at a large international law firm in New York City and was a law clerk to the Honorable Karen Sharlow at the Federal Court of Appeal.
