About Reed Chase

With 23 years of public accounting experience, Reed has served as a strategic partner to a diverse array of companies, from publicly traded to privately held firms across multiple sectors. His expertise spans critical areas such as mergers and acquisitions, revenue recognition, capital transactions, and overseeing international operations. Reed’s personal passion for the science of human performance has led to several process optimizations within Tanner. As the current leader of the Assurance Practice, Reed is a dedicated developer of team talent and individual mentorship. Reed is a proud Weber State University alumnus where he continues to serve his alma mater and the educational community as an advisory board member for the school of accounting. He is actively involved in the professional community as a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants. His previous roles include serving as president and chair of the Mountainwest Capital Network and teaching as an adjunct professor at Weber State University.
