Coordinated site Engineering activities during the building of a major Li-ion battery recycling facility in the USA. Responsible for delivering excellence to programs while applying project management best practices to solve complex problems and facilitate the execution of integrated project plans and deliverables for cross-functional teams.• Selected vendors to supply hoists and electrification systems for four monorails. Coordinated engineering design work with engineering contractors.• Worked with Engineering team members and Supply Chain identifying a vendor to update the Process Piping support system. A very detailed Technical Bid Evaluation was prepared.• Coordinated responses to about 230 RFIs (Request for Information) from the General Contractor covering aspects of Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation and Control. Approximately 96% were closed.• Documented changes in several systems following the Management of Change procedure: Guardhouse, Security system, Sampling stations, Lighting Poles, Charge Stations for Lead-Acid Battery operated forklifts, structural and electrical modifications to install a jib crane.• Contributed to updates of more than 200 IFC engineering documents.• Coordinated work of the Engineering team to complete several designs and included them in construction bid packages.• Signed close to 100 Construction Non-Conformance Construction Reports (CNCR). Reviewed responses and made decisions to accept or reject. Approximately 67 CNCRs were pending to be closed.• Oversaw the work of an engineering contractor assembling Construction Bid Packages (CBP) to be included in a bidding process to continue construction of the facilities.• Document Control coordinator: uploading documents into a new EDMS; Updating several procedures for company-wide use.• Prepared several Material Requisition (MRs) for material and/or equipment pending to be procured.• Prepared weekly and routine reports to Leadership team.
