I am a recruitment professional specialising in the UK manufacturing sector.After completing my degree in Business & French, I joined SJS Recruitment and have been with the business to see it through its growth over the last decade, progressing to my current role of Operations Director.Why I do what I do? Not many people start off thinking ‘I want to be a recruiter’ – the majority tend to fall into it (myself included)- and many don’t stick at it. Seeing the fall out has made me reflect on why I do what I do. I enjoy being an instrumental part of positive change – both from a candidate and client perspective. I have seen time-and-time again the positive impact successful recruitment can have on an organisation. I’ve also witnessed the impact helping a candidate acquire the right role, or even just giving them the right advice, will have on their careers.How I do what I do?By being an expert in my field I am able to focus on providing a high quality service to my clients and candidates.
