   Responsibilities in this position will play an integral role in advancing and evolving the organization’s multimedia storytelling content. She will continue to lead and supervise the high-performing storytelling team and provide the strategic vision, creative direction and production support for our multimedia initiatives and digital content creation. The initiatives and content will advance our mission by connecting our audiences (donors, corporate partners, media and the public) to our mission through the authentic stories of real people to show how our work makes an impact in communities across the U.S.Creative Direction: Expand our strategic vision and creative direction for content developed for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Creates concepts for external proposals and reviews and evaluates external proposals, provides editorial notes and guidelines through early stages of production, ensuring that throughout development and production projects are in alignment with current and future initiatives, audience trends and emerging content platforms. Ensures that all content successfully supports our brands guidelines and mission. Managing a team: Leads a high-performing team who will shepherd projects from concept, development and through all phases of production. Reviews and provides editorial feedback to direct reports. Collaborative, empathetic leader and relationship builder; knows how to nurture and support the storytelling team’s creative ideas and helps to support her team throughout concept to launch of final content. Identify and Grow Content Distribution Platforms: Develop and expand content strategies and distribution opportunities to advance Share Our Strength’s mission. Identify new audience trends, sourcing new talent to engage in our storytelling work, developing new concepts and experimental approaches to content production and distribution, and considering new content types for emerging platforms.
