Honda\'s Engineering Development Program allows engineers to rotate through groups that they will experience working with once they return to their Home Department. My home department is Market Quality Engineering within the Vehicle Quality Department at Honda\'s Marysville Auto Plant (MAP). My rotations have included:MAP Assembly Frame Quality North American Quality Center (NAQC) Market Quality Interior GroupMAP Manufacturing Engineering Department I will complete my EDP time with a presentation to leadership in June of 2025 where I will then return to MAP Market Quality permanently.
ABOUT REBEKAH MCCARTNEY
As a recent Mechanical Engineering Technology graduate and current Master\'s degree candidate in Engineering Technology with a focus in Quality Management systems, I am driven by a passion for understanding and improving complex systems.During my undergraduate studies, I gained hands-on experience in designing and analyzing various mechanical systems, including automotive components and manufacturing processes. This sparked my interest in understanding the interplay between design, production, and quality, leading me to pursue a Master\'s degree in Quality Management.My graduate coursework has provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to analyze and optimize processes and systems to ensure high quality standards are met. I have developed an expertise in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other quality management tools, which I am excited to apply in a professional setting.As a driven and dedicated individual, I am committed to furthering my skills and education to become a well-rounded engineer who can deliver value to any organization.
