I am a board-certified Integrative Family Medicine Physician. I view health care through a holistic lens and place patients and desired clinical outcomes at the forefront of my decision making, whether it’s been in my extensive experience building leaders, implementing process improvements that impact clinical outcomes, or teaching residency students. When patient access and quality care are the primary drivers, transformational leadership and advocacy can create tangible change.I have a proven success creating innovative solutions that improve employee morale, reduce cost, and lower barriers to quality care. This includes co-founding a startup, CareMap, that uses predictive analytics to drive member engagement with digital healthcare solutions.I have demonstrated success in board advisory roles and contributing to operational enhancements that streamline workflows and increase productivity.I am passionate about transformative care. I played an integral role as physician co-lead in trans-disciplinary pain pilot to counteract opiate crisis. I received from parent company to fund alternative care initiatives through influencing senior leadership and mental health team. Our pilot expansion is already approved pending outcomes of initial cohort.I build leaders and set development strategies. I have partnered with Assistant Director of Residency to develop and facilitate 3-day “chief resident workshop” on leadership skills not taught in medical school. I helped pioneer a program to prepare future physician leaders to best meet expectations in their respective environments, training 20+ residents in two years.I influence change. I recognized opportunity to utilize data analytics tool to quantify patient outcomes and risk stratification, and was requested by our Chief Informatics Officer to join the Care Manager project as the physician champion. I successfully doubled Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) by identifying trends and implementing new solutions that prioritized key population checks, while also integrating a mental health component to care.
