Direct TxDOT’s Beyond The Road program, promote our historic bridge program, and create guidance and policy around the identification of cultural landscapes as part of TxDOT projects.

Public historian with 21 years of experience in federal and state historic preservation programs. My current projects include developing and conducting outreach on TxDOT\'s history and archeology programs and stories, with a highlight on the Bolivar Archeology Project; overseeing TxDOT\'s tribal consultation program; nominating the African American Olivewood Cemetery to the National Register of Historic Places, and promoting the history and preservation of equalization schools across the South.Specialties: Public speaking, community engagment, tribal consultation, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Section 4(f) of the Department of Transportation Act, National Register of Historic Places nominations, statewide architectural survey, project management, program management.
