ABOUT REBEKAH PHILLIPS
With expertise in both earned revenue and audience development strategies, Rebekah comes to the Mazamas with 20 years of non-profit marketing, communications and leadership experience. After graduating from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, her career began in Portland where she spent more than a decade exploring the many sides of arts administration before discovering a passion for audience building. In past positions at Oregon Symphony (Director of Marketing, Communications & Sales) and Portland Columbia Symphony (Executive Director) Rebekah was instrumental in developing digital, brand, and content strategies, and led her teams to earned income records at both institutions. A distance runner, hiker, and Master Naturalist, Rebekah is a lifelong Oregonian and outdoor enthusiast, as well as a gardener and history junkie. With service at the center of her ethos, Rebekah is an active volunteer in her community and has served on several non-profit boards.
