About Rebekah Mauk
As the youngest in a big family, I learned early on how to adapt, listen, and persevere-qualities that shape how I approach challenges as an engineer.Currently I am pursuing a BA/BS dual degree at the University of San Diego (USD) in Mechanical Engineering, graduating in December 2025. Over the past few years, I’ve completed three internships in manufacturing, contributing to projects in process engineering, plant operations, and health, safety & environmental systems. These experiences strengthened my ability to navigate complex systems, identify inefficiencies, and implement meaningful improvements.Extending a person\'s quality of life through user-centered design draws me to the medical device industry, where engineering innovation directly impacts lives. I’m motivated by the opportunity to combine problem-solving, creativity, and hands-on learning to design solutions that make a real difference for patients and practitioners.I am excited to join a team that values cross-functional collaboration and curiosity. Where learning from experienced engineers allow me to contribute to meaningful projects, and keep building both my technical and leadership skills.
