ABOUT REBECCA TIERNEY
My work sits at the intersection of law, human behavior, and how people move through periods of significant change.I began my career in corporate litigation, developing a foundation in structured thinking, precision, advocacy, strategy, and high-level execution. I later moved into executive leadership, founding and leading a company focused on supporting women in their professional lives. That work took me across the country, facilitating conversations, leading programs, and working closely with women navigating ambition, identity, and structural barriers.At Redefining Family, founded with my former spouse and long-term co-parent, I work with individuals and families navigating divorce and family restructuring. Through our unique perspective as legal professionals and executive leaders with personal experience restructuring our own family, we offer clients a first-of-its-kind multidisciplinary model that integrates domains rarely addressed together.Across all settings, I have been passionate about helping people move through transitions - not just intellectually, but behaviorally and physiologically. My work integrates my analytical, pragmatic training with more holistic approaches - including communication dynamics, emotional regulation, and the role of the nervous system in shaping response.In work and life, I value positivity, integrity, and connection.
