ABOUT REBECCA BOZMAN

I am currently a Chemical Engineer in the Process Design and Optimization Group within Worldwide Engineering and Construction at Eastman Chemical Company. I have worked at Eastman for 2 years and have worked on projects ranging from process design and modeling with Aspen, project leadership, safety relief design, process safety risk item closure and equipment design. I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor\'s in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and minors in Business Administration and Reliability and Maintainability Engineering in May of 2021. Prior to joining Eastman during the Spring/Summer of 2019 and Summer of 2020 I worked as a co-op at the Billings ExxonMobil refinery. While there, I worked on projects related to site reliability, process safety risk mitigation, safety relief and process improvement. I also co-oped at Kimberly Clark at the Louden Mill prior to graduation. I worked with fellow engineers to troubleshoot a new bleaching mechanism as well as improving the efficiency of our washers. Outside of work I am involved in the AIChE ETLS Outreach Committee and was Activities coordinator for the ETLS STEM Field Day in 2023. I am also involved in the Volunteer State Science Bowl as the social media coordinator.
