Northway is the oldest all-girls summer camp in Canada. We are a family-run wilderness camp for girls, located in Algonquin Park, Ontario Canada. Founded in 1906, Northway offers a traditional program based on our wilderness off-the-grid setting. Campers take part in swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, arts and crafts and dramatics every day. Canoe trips are the most special and loved of all activities. Northway has developed an unmatched style, spirit and skill in canoe tripping.Northway was founded with the idea that girls should learn how to live simply in the outdoors and that the absence of electricity, appliances and luxuries would give campers a wilderness experience that they might draw upon throughout their lives. We try to maintain the idea that in-camp life should be almost as simple as life on a canoe trip. For generations, my family has proudly run Camp Northway, the oldest all-girls overnight summer camp in Canada. I’m honoured to continue this legacy, providing girls with an immersive outdoor experience that builds confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships. stepping into the world of forests and lakes full-time, I spent a decade in marketing and advertising project management in downtown Toronto. I thrived in fast-paced environments, leading teams through tight deadlines, creative problem-solving, and complex campaigns across industries like pharma, automotive, and finance. That experience shaped my leadership style—one that values adaptability, collaboration, and purpose-driven work.At Northway, we believe in empowering young women through adventure and challenge. Our program is rooted in leadership development, outdoor education, and personal growth—skills that serve campers well beyond their summers at camp.
