I\'m an investment professional deeply committed to advancing non-concessionary sustainable investments that not only deliver financial returns but also a positive impact. Currently, I serve as a member of the Sustainable Investing & Innovation (\"SII\") team at OPTrust, one of Canada\'s largest pension funds managing net assets of ~$25 billion. In my current role, I\'m focused on establishing and executing on an innovative investment strategy that deploys capital in investments at the intersection of sustainability and innovation. This strategy has been designed to align with OPTrust\'s long-term sustainability objectives, with an initial emphasis on seizing climate opportunities emerging from the global transition to a net-zero economy. In addition to the investment mandate, I support the delivery of the organization\'s Climate Change Strategy and the broader responsible investing program across all asset classes. I have a background in institutional investing, having previously worked at Manulife Investment Management and Export Development Canada. While my earlier experiences centered around generalist private equity and venture capital, my current position represents a deliberate pivot, allowing me to harness my experience and passion to contribute to a more sustainable future.
