ABOUT REBECCA MINTO

One of the things I enjoy most about my role is creating enduring relationships with people and advising them and future generations. It is a personal service, tailored to each client’s particular circumstances.My job involves the preparation of complex wills to help mitigate inheritance tax, wealth protection in order to protect family assets, helping clients take advantage of tax exemptions, allowances and reliefs, and advising on drafting and construction of settlements and trusts. I also work closely with our specialist advising on and creating FICs.As a Solicitor specialising in helping people arrange, manage and dispose of their estate during their lifetime, I work with a variety of clients, frequently including the very wealthy and business people, to meet their estate planning requirements. I also work closely with other professionals, such as accountants, stockbrokers, IFAs and wealth managers to help clients achieve their objectives.With the Government often amending the law and rules of tax planning and tax-efficient structures, I recognise the importance of keeping informed about planned changes and revisions. Knowing about the latest trends and developments in the private client sphere enables me to provide clients with up to date and relevant advice.I am fortunate to work closely with a team of talented lawyers, many of whom are recognised for their skill and expertise in multiple professional directories. I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner’s (STEP), Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and a Dementia Friends Champion.
