ABOUT REBECCA KUAN

At 16 years old, I went abroad alone to study in the UK for university. Despite being younger than all my peers, I took this unfamiliar challenge head-on and championed this journey, leading me to diverse experiences in consulting, entrepreneurship, and scientific research.From consultant at London’s No.1 Student Consultancy (LSC) to Project Lead for a Y Combinator Forbes 30 Under 30 startup, I’m now co-founder of an AI education agency - always pushing limits and embracing the next big challenge.Yet, my paramount strength lies in my creativity and steadfast ability to action these ideas. Notably, during the UCL Leadership Race 2024, I independently campaigned across social media platforms, yielding 16.2K views in 2 days on a video and securing 254 votes as a First Year Undergraduate Student. Insightful experiences shadowing medical professionals in The Rayne Institute, The Royal Free Hospital, and interning at UCL under the Wellcome Trust Biomedical Scholarship have endowed me with more than sufficient knowledge about proper lab protocol and laboratory skills, further honed in my modules at UCL and applied in my spring at ZS Consultants.Guided by the ethos that learning is a gift. Acquiring new knowledge and experiences serves as the compass by which I navigate my journey towards my ambitions.
