About Becca Koetter

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Dayton pursuing my Bachelor\'s of Science Degree in Accounting with a minor in Business Analytics.This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern at Cohen & Company in their Assurance department, specializing in privately held companies. Through this experience, I learned the processes and procedures involved in an audit by assisting in 18 separate engagements. In addition, I analyzed financial data while exercising professional skepticism in gathering and reviewing client information.At the University of Dayton, I am involved in Women In Business, a professional organization focused on uniting women interested in the business field. This year, I serve as the New Member Development Director to lead the transition of 20-30 members each semester into the organization. I am also in Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity, serving at Head of Recruitment to coordinate events and marketing tactics to recruit students to join our organization. On campus, I hold two jobs. The first one being Customer Service Representative at Print and Copy Service where I assist customers with their print, copy and other related needs. I also am the Ohio Society of CPAs student ambassador for the University of Dayton. In this role, I administer presentations to students about pursing a career in accounting or attaining their CPA designation. Ultimately, upon graduation, I plan to pursue a career in public accounting.
