About Rebecca Gries

When I applied to join the Milwaukee 7 attraction and expansion team, I had no idea what it really entailed. In fact, I found that the role was not easily defined online. However, as I\'ve settled into the job, I\'ve come to appreciate the complexities and challenges that come with it.One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is getting to know all of Milwaukee 7\'s partners at the local, county, and state levels, and learning how each community contributes to our efforts in building up and telling the story of southeastern Wisconsin. Being involved in the region\'s community has been a highlight of my career, and I\'ve relished every opportunity to deepen my understanding of the area and its unique strengths.As the go-to person for expanding businesses in or into southeastern Wisconsin, I take pride in navigating multiple organizations and finding the right information to help companies make informed location decisions. I enjoy problem-solving and piecing together the resources needed to lead a project successfully. I am always hands-on and never leave clients hanging, whether it\'s by joining conversations, answering follow-up questions, or conducting research to provide the specific data they need. My goal is to make the decision-making process as easy as possible for busy business owners by distilling complex information down to a digestible format.In this profession, no two days or projects are alike, but my passion for the Milwaukee 7 Region keeps me motivated and excited about the impact of my work. I am deeply committed to this community, and I take pride in knowing that my efforts are helping to shape its future.
